… a lot like christmas!
when you have a family / maternity session in december, and the christmas tree is already up and beautiful, of course you have to take advantage of that for a few christmas shots! and if there’s another set of lights lying around, even better: why not wrap them around mum and dad instead of the tree?
afterwards the kids and i considered leaving the parents there all tied up and go play, but then we figured it would be nice to also have the parents in a few more images. plus mum was needed to set out the cookies (delicious cinnamon stars of which i had to get the recipe!) – and also, after all, to photograph her bump… ;)
