This family is about to welcome not one, but two additions! And the soon-to-be big brother is so excited and well-prepared – here he is reading a book with his parents about all the things he will be able to teach his younger siblings in the future. Also, don’t you agree that his mom is the definition of ‚pregnancy glow‘?! I can’t wait to see them with their twins soon for their newborn photography session!
Wow, it’s been a while since my last blog post! I’m finally back in Singapore after a long summer break in Europe, and my first session after the break was this lovely maternity session in East Coast Park. I love how mom is positively glowing, dad’s loving look, and how they are kind of framed by their climbing children in the background! Yes, soon the parents will be outnumbered by the kids… not much longer now! ;)
today’s sneak peek is a bit different from my usual style – a bit darker and moodier – and i’m totally in love with it! the b/w works great to show off this mom-to-be’s beautiful baby bump, emphasised by the delicate lace pattern of the dress. hope you love it too!

well, here’s the maternity session we had prior to his arrival – and just before mom had to spend the remaining pregnancy weeks in hospital…
nevertheless, i hope these images will help to remember the pregnancy fondly. of course, the family dogs ‚happy‘ and ‚lucky‘ had to be a part of the session too!

hoorraayyy! we’ll be a family of five! indescribably happy to be able to experience another pregnancy and baby – our wish came true!

i called him straight away. his reaction: i knew it!

what will be the fondest memory of your pregnancy?
sharing it with the children! they were so excited. we kept the baby-name our family-secret, and the kids never told anyone, even though plenty of people tried to coax it out of them…
what memory are you most looking forward to making?
family togetherness. laughter during our family times, and memories of lots and lots of love and fun.
this gorgeous couple was expecting their first baby and had me over to capture this very special ‚bump time‘. they were so sweet together, and already had so much love for their unborn little one, it was a pleasure to see and to photograph! and mom-to-be most definitely had that pregnancy-glow going on, big time. little one is now already 6 months old – and she’s stinkin‘ cute too! but: you’ll have to take my word for it, as i’m still anticipating the pleasure of photographing her too… hint, hint! ;)
this lovely couple booked me for their maternity & newborn sessions, and it is always an honour to capture memories of this very special time for a couple turning into a little family! for their maternity session, they had a special request: some images with their car, a beautiful convertible, which would soon have to go – just not convenient for life with a baby. ;) well, as parents we have to make all kinds of sacrifices, right? but they are oh so worth it!!
