one little birthday boy was extremely happy about his birthday cake today!
well, it certainly does look delicious, doesn’t it?
the only thing that looks even more ‚delicious‘ than the cake is the happy sparkle in lucien’s eyes… ;)
happy birthday again, lucien!
you may recognize this little guy – i also photographed his birthday session last year (some more images here).
oh, and at the end of the session, i got to try a piece of the cake, and i have to say: it tastes as good as it looks! :)
this morning i had a wonderful session with a sweet little girl who’s clearly looking forward to welcoming her baby brother into the world soon… ;)

this was the second time i photographed this beautiful family (the last session was a newborn session for little ava), and it was lovely to see how much the kids have grown, changed and developed into their own personalities. you can see a fun comparison of images from both sessions here in this blog post.
as the second session was just in time for ava’s first birthday, we used my black board for a few images and mom wrote three words that characterize ava at this time in her life: ava is a very happy little girl (glad), she knows exactly what she wants or doesn’t want (bestemt), and she can be a little fiery hothead when things don’t go according to her plan… (hidsigprop).

i had the pleasure of photographing these two adorable girls and their parents today.
impossible to say who’s more adorable – little sister holding on to that finger and gazing at her big sister’s face, or big sister all excited about the finger-holding and those cute baby-smiles… aaaww!

during today’s session, 3 days after little ava’s first birthday, we repeated some of the setups that i also photographed last time during the newborn & family session. here’s a little sneak peek: then – and now!

we started this family portrait session on the roof of pinnacle @ duxton. after thoroughly enjoying the view for a while, we went on to explore the many different lounging and mini-garden areas on the viewing terrace – plenty of opportunities for climbing, discovering plants, jumping and playing. when we started getting too hot, we went back indoors and cooled down with a drink and some family storytime on the bed – isn’t this proud big sister the cutest? and given his cute smile, i’d say that little brother really enjoyed the story, too! ;)
big sis then went on to impress me with her cooking skills (i got to taste her extremely delicious tomato soup… or was it mushroom?), while her little brother enjoyed some cuddles with mom and dad. i’d say that during that morning, not only the view from the rooftop was quite a sight… so was this loving family! :)
